The Force Behind the Forward

A.N.G.E.L. Forward Group began with a powerful personal story and a deep commitment to personal and collective growth. Founder Daquesnye “Quess” Angel Miller is a Master’s-level strategist, nonprofit leader, educator, and entrepreneur who has dedicated her life to creating spaces where people can thrive and leaders can rise. Having built her path from the ground up, Quess brings a profound understanding of resilience, purpose, and transformation to everything she does. Her journey is a testament to vision, determination, and the power of lifting others as you climb.

Through years of experience in nonprofit leadership, education, human resources, and talent development, Quess witnessed firsthand the limitations of traditional leadership programs. Too often, these models prioritized credentials over character, theory over lived experience, and uniformity over cultural fluency. They left little room for authenticity, overlooked the value of personal resilience, and failed to honor the diverse paths leaders take to reach their potential. That realization became the foundation of A.N.G.E.L. Forward Group: a transformative space where resilience is recognized as a strength, real stories are celebrated, and leadership is redefined through the lenses of empathy, strategic thinking, and purposeful action.

So, she built something different.
